Brad got his start racing karts when he was 14 years old, campaigning his bright red Hartman kart with a Yamaha KT-100 engine at the Oxnard Karting Recreation Center. After high school and through college, he worked for various driving schools to feed his racing habit, while he raced 100cc sprinters, as well as 125 and 250cc shifter karts. In 1990, he joined Dan Gurney’s All-American Racers as a mechanic – where he got to work on the fabulously successful Toyota Eagle GTP cars. In 1996, he went to work as a financial advisor to get off the road, and have a family. In 2004, he bought the Crossle he campaigns now: chalking up numerous podium finishes, as well as wins in the 2007 VARA Formula Car Enduro at California Speedway, the 2009 VARA Big Bore Bash at Willow Springs, and the Formula Libre race at CSCC’s Doernbecher Dash in 2009 at Portland International Raceway.
